In search of the elusive Purple Hairstreak - This little-known butterfly (see here..) is found in the oak woodlands of the Rheidol Valley for a just a few weeks each summer. Patience required!23rd July 11.00 pm.

Fairy Butterfly Halloween - Come and experience Halloween in the butterfly display. Hear the owls screeching in the outside woods. A magical evening suitable for younger children. 31st October 6.30pm.
