A Kaleidoscope of colours. Few moths show such a blaze of colours as the Sunset Moth. Rich reds, oranges and turquoise paint an African scene of a setting sun. Like most colourful moths, this species flies in the day. The colours are not true pigments but come about through the refraction of light.
