Like the tropical rain forests, tropical coral reefs are among the richest habitats on Earth. Most people know that they are severely threatened habitats due to their fragility.

We keep over 70 types of corals many as small individuals. These are high maintenance animals needing contant filtration and frequent fresh sea water changes to replenish trace elements. It is hard to begin to count how many hours this one display has taken. Please take your time watching these marine displays, they are packed all sorts of types of animals and not just the fish. The corals, themselves, are some of the most beguilingly beautiful animals on the planet.
