The INsects and Others
In the Reception room as you come in, we have displays of other insects and their relatives. Stick insects, mantids, beetles, giant caterpillars are all kept in an ever-changing display. These are used in school tours to teach about the wide variety of different animals that live in the rain forests. Insects after all make up by far the greatest part of Biodiversity on the planet.
In the last ten years we have been looking after a tropical coral reef display. The latest additions are two Bumblebee Dart Frogs. Please take your time as you walk around, as we have packed a lot of displays into a compact space here. |
